Adopted or Rejected Land Use Ordinances

A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 702 proposes to amend the Central Bethany Subarea section of the Bethany Community Plan to remove requirements that no more than 15 acres of land is provided in Area of Special Concern (ASC) 1 and that all Community Business District (CBD) development is located in one quadrant of the Laidlaw/Bethany intersection.

Ordinance No. 698 proposes to replace Section 215 (Enforcement) of the Community Development Code (CDC) Element of the Comprehensive Plan with a new Section 215 entitled “Code Compliance.

Ordinance No. 697 proposes to amend Section 501 (Public Facility and Service Standards) of the Community Development Code (CDC) Element of the Comprehensive Plan relating to frontage improvement requirements for development projects abutting substandard County roads, commonly referred to as ‘half-street improvements’.

Ordinance No. 696 proposes to amend various sections of the Community Development Code (CDC) Element of the Comprehensive Plan to update county standards for compliance with changes made by the Oregon Legislature as well as changes made to Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR).

Ordinance No. 695 proposes to amend a portion of Article V that applies to new development within urban unincorporated Washington County. Section 501-8 of the Community Development Code would be amended to make changes relating to the pavement standards for local and neighborhood route streets and add a requirement for street lighting in conjunction with half-street improvements.

Ordinance No. 694 proposes to amend Policy 41 of the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area, the West Union Community Plan and Section 308 of the Community Development Code to prohibit certain institutional uses (cemeteries, churches, day care facilities and schools) in areas designated for future industrial uses.

A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 692 proposes to amend Articles II, III, IV, V and VI of the Community Development Code relating to housekeeping and general update amendments.

Ordinance No. 686 proposes to amend the Rural/Natural Resource Plan, the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area (CFP), the East Hillsboro Community Plan and the Community Development Code (CDC) to incorporate changes to the regional urban growth boundary (UGB) by Metro in 2005.

Ordinance No. 685 proposes to amend the Community Development Code (CDC), Section 430-1.1, relating to Special Use Standards for Residential Accessory Uses and Structures.

Ordinance No. 684 proposes to amend the Community Development Code (CDC) relating to yard setbacks for manufactured dwellings in manufactured dwelling subdivisions approved before December 27, 1983.

A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 683 proposes to amend the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area, the 2020 Transportation Plan, the Aloha-Reedville-Cooper Mountain Community Plan, the Raleigh Hills-Garden Home Community Plan and the Community Development Code to make general update and housekeeping amendments.

Ordinance No. 682 proposes to amend a portion of Article V of the Community Development Code that applies to new development located outside of urban growth boundaries to provide additional safety criteria for public roadways that may be affected by rural developments with high potential trip generation (more than 200 average daily trips).

Ordinance No. 680 proposes to amend the Washington County-Wilsonville Urban Planning Area Agreement Element of the Washington County Comprehensive Plan relating to City planning of the Coffee Creek Master Plan Area

Ordinance No. 677 proposes to amend the Washington County Community Development Code Element of the Comprehensive Plan to make housekeeping changes to half-street improvement standards

Ordinance No. 676 proposes to amend the Washington County Community Development Code Element of the Comprehensive Plan to implement 2005 legislative changes

Ordinance No. 675 amends the Washington County - Tualatin Urban Planning Area Agreement originally adopted in 1988 and updated in 2005

Ordinance No. 674 proposes to amend the Washington County 2020 Transportation Plan, the Aloha-Reedville-Cooper Mountain Community Plan and the Community Development Code Elements of the Comprehensive Plan to make housekeeping amendments

Ordinance No. 671 proposes to amend the Rural Natural Resource Plan, the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area, and the West Union Community Plan relating to areas added to the Urban Growth Boundary by Metro in 2004. This ordinance would apply the Future Development 20 Acre District (FD-20) to the new 2004 urban lands.

A-Engrossed Ordinance No. 670 proposes to amend the Community Development Code to streamline and clarify provisions concerning uses and exemptions from permit requirements relating to grading and drainage.

Ordinance No. 669 proposes to amend the Comprehensive Framework Plan for the Urban Area (CFP) and the Community Development Code (CDC) relating to housekeeping and general update amendments.
