Houseless people who are enrolled in a program to aid in their transition to stable housing will be allowed to temporarily live in vehicles parked overnight at some religious and non-residential facilities under a safe parking ordinance adopted by the Washington County Board of Commissioners.

Mt. Richmond Road, between Patton Valley and South roads, is expected to close Sept. 9-Nov. 30 for a bridge replacement.

Construction begins on Springville Road, between Kaiser Road and Joss Avenue, on Sept. 1.

Red transit priority lanes and green bike priority lanes are coming to the intersection of 185th Avenue and Cornell Road.

Update: The 112th Avenue culvert replacement project has been delayed by a week. Instead, the road will be down to one lane Aug. 17-21 for water line construction. Then, the road will be closed through Sept. 20 for culvert replacement.

Gaston Road between Spring Hill Road and Highway 47 will be closed Aug. 24-Nov. 30 for bridge replacement.

Access between Elwert/Kruger roads and Highway 99W at Sunset Boulevard will remain closed through Aug. 11. The closure began April 13 for installation of a roundabout.

B Street is closed between Gales Creek and Stringtown Road for bridge replacement from July 6-Sept. 30.

The FY 2020-21 Road Maintenance Program was approved by the Washington County Board of Commissioners during its regular meeting on June 16. The program outlines the Department of Land Use & Transportation (LUT) road maintenance activities.
