Kinnaman Road between 196th and 198th avenues will close Aug. 3-Sept. 2 for reconstruction of the 198th Avenue and Kinnaman Road intersection.
All through traffic must use the signed detour (see map). Local access will be maintained to properties within the construction zones.
A closure on Blanton Street by Clean Water Services will use the same detour Aug. 3-17.
The 198th Avenue project includes:
- Continuous bicycle lanes and sidewalks
- Replacement of bridges at Butternut and Celebrity creeks
- Signal installation and realignment of the 198th Avenue/Kinnaman Road intersection
- Safety enhancements
- Street lighting
- Storm drainage upgrades
The $21 million 198th Avenue project is funded through Washington County’s Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program (MSTIP).
