For Immediate Release: Thursday, August 13, 2020
The 112th Avenue culvert replacement project has been delayed by a week. Instead, the road will be down to one lane Aug. 17-21 for water line construction. Then, the road will be closed through Sept. 20 for culvert replacement.
The existing 48-inch culvert is undersized and in poor condition. It will be replaced by a 102-inch round culvert, which will provide better water flow and allow passage for native migratory fish.
For more information, visit the project webpage or contact the Washington County Department of Land Use & Transportation at [email protected] or 503-846-ROAD (7623). For the latest road construction schedules, visit www.wc-roads.com.
Washington County is committed to planning, building and maintaining a great transportation system, ensuring the safety of all roadway users, and operating the County roadway system in a cost-effective and environmentally responsible manner.
