The Sheriff’s Office Remotely Operated Vehicle Team donated a decommissioned tactical robot to the Glencoe High School robotics team.

The Committee for Community Involvement (CCI) will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018, at Edwards Center, Inc. Aloha Community Center, 4375 SW Edwards Place, Aloha.

The Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Hillsboro Police Department on a mission to target five properties in Aloha and Hillsboro, leading to 16 arrests in less than a week.

A 55-year-old Hillsboro woman died after crashing head-on into another vehicle on Southwest River Road. The other driver was transported to a local hospital with apparent minor injuries.

Deputies are asking for the public’s assistance locating a 68-year-old man who has been staying in the Portland area.

An impaired driver from a fatal crash in July on Highway 99W was located in California and arrested for manslaughter in the first degree. The investigation found her blood alcohol content at the time of the crash had been over three times the legal limit.

An impaired driver crashed into a house in the Cedar Hills community early this morning. Two passengers were transported to a local hospital with injuries.
