Nighttime work on 175th Avenue starts Jan. 7

Nighttime lane closures on 175th Avenue, between Alvord Lane and Scholls Ferry Road, will begin Jan. 7 for utility work on the 175th Avenue widening project.

Nighttime lane closures on 175th Avenue, between Alvord Lane and Scholls Ferry Road, will begin Jan. 7 for utility work on the 175th Avenue widening project.

The water and sewer work will be performed from 9 p.m.-6 a.m. Sundays through Thursdays to minimize impacts to commuters. Plans call for 175th Avenue to be widened to five lanes, two lanes in each direction and a center turn lane, with bike lanes and sidewalks.
