In the interest of community safety, the Washington County Community Corrections Department is requesting public assistance in locating the whereabouts of a fugitive sex offender, Robert Edward Foster.

Washington County’s Office of Community Development, in partnership with the City of Beaverton, has been awarded the National Community Development Association’s 2014 John A. Sasso Award for outstanding community efforts in recognizing the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the HOME Investment Partnerships programs.

Washington County and city partners are celebrating the 40th anniversary of two pivotal federal grant programs which contribute to community development.

A high risk sex offender, Juan Carlos Ortiz, will be released from the Two Rivers Correctional Institute in Umatilla, Oregon, on April 10, 2014. Mr. Ortiz will be housed at the Community Corrections Center in Hillsboro after he is released.

The documentary film “American Winter”, which spotlights the day-to-day struggles faced by a growing number of families in our region, will be presented by the Washington County Office of Community Development and the City of Beaverton on Thursday February 20 at the Venetian Theater and Bistro. The screening, which is part of a community development planning process, will be held at 6:00 p.m.

The Washington County Community Corrections Department announces the release of sex offender, Tyler James Lupoli (Miller) from prison on January 13, 2014. Mr. Lupoli (Miller) will be housed at the Community Corrections Center in Hillsboro.

The Washington County Community Corrections Department announces the release of a high risk sex offender, Samuel Lee Aslin, from the Washington County Jail on December 20, 2013. Mr. Aslin will be housed at the Community Corrections Center in Hillsboro after he is released.

The Washington County Community Corrections Department announces the release of a high risk predatory sex offender, Dustin Westling, from Three Rivers Correctional Institute on December 20, 2013. Mr. Westling will be housed at the Community Corrections Center in Hillsboro when he returns to Washington County.

Stacy Tyrone Pierce, a predatory sex offender, will be released from prison on August 23, 2013.

In honor of Fair Housing Month, Washington County’s Office of Community Development will host a free public screening of the acclaimed documentary Brick by Brick…A Civil Rights Story on April 22, 2013.

John Anderson, predatory sex offender will release from prison on May 14, 2012.
