Legal Status/Convictions: Mr. Aslin is on post-prison supervision for Sex Abuse 1 until November 6, 2015. Mr. Aslin has been on community supervision since February 8, 2012 and is being released from the Washington County Jail on December 20, 2013 after serving a 30 day jail sanction. He will be temporarily housed at the Community Corrections Center due to his homeless status.
Special Conditions of Probation/Parole/Post-Prison Supervision: Mr. Aslin is not allowed to have contact with any minors or go to any place where minors congregate (i.e. parks, schools, arcades). Mr. Aslin is not allowed to use or possess alcohol, drugs, or pornographic material of any kind. He is currently not engaged in sex offender treatment and is unemployed, but meets with his parole officer weekly.
Prior Convictions: Mr. Aslin's sex offenses include Clackamas County (1993) – Sodomy in the 1st Degree; and Washington County (1999) – Sexual Abuse in the 1st Degree.
Target Population: Mr. Aslin has targeted minor male victims. He gained access to them by making friends with their families and then groomed them by providing gifts. Mr. Aslin would invite neighborhood children to his house were he would allow them to play video games and watch movies. He would then engage in sexual behaviors in front of the minors and then sexually abuse the minor males. Mr. Aslin was discovered when the mothers of his victims began to notice concerning behaviors. Mr. Aslin has a history of sadism and is considered a high risk and untreated sex offender.
