Chair Tom Brian of the Washington County Board of Commissioners invites interested parties to come to a public hearing August 20 from 4 to 8 pm in Hillsboro at the new Civic Center.

Access onto and out of Barrows Road at Scholls Ferry Road will be right-in/right-out when bridge repair is complete and Barrows Road reopens.

The Washington County Reserves Coordinating Committee (WCRCC) is hosting a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 20, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hillsboro Civic Center, 150 E. Main Street in Hillsboro.

Night time road striping starts August 5. Motorists cautioned to not drive on stripes while paint is wet.

Night time paving on Cornell Road in Cedar Mill August 6 and 9.

Washington County’s Department of Land Use and Transportation will be grinding up existing asphalt to prepare for fresh pavement on Murray Boulevard and Cornell Road in Cedar Mill beginning Wednesday July 22nd through Saturday August 1, 2009. This work may cause up to 20 minute delays. The public is encouraged to use alternate routes. Message boards will be up and flaggers will be on site helping direct traffic.

Motorists and farm machinery can share the road safely.
