The Washington County Sheriff’s Office encourages everyone to be safe and considerate when celebrating the 4th of July. In addition to extra patrols focused on intoxicated driving over the holiday, deputies will be prepared to enforce laws related to illegal fireworks.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Northwest Gold Refinery jewelry store on a reported robbery. Deputies were told by the owner that a man entered the store and threatened him with a handgun

Sheriff’s Deputies received information to lead them to believe that Rafael Abinacer, 41, of Hillsboro had inappropriate sexual contact with a girl less than 14 years of age. He was arrested and lodged in the Washington County Jail on several charges.

Washington County Detectives are searching for additional sex abuse victims following the arrest of an Aloha man. It is believed there may be additional victims that have not come forth.

Sheriff's deputies responded to a house in Aloha where the residents reported that someone shot a bullet through their exterior wall. While deputies were investigating the incident, they heard another shot from the suspect’s house. After several hours a woman was arrested for discharging a firearm inside her house.

This is an update to a press release the Sheriff’s Office released on November 30, 2012. Today, at about 5:00 p.m., Denise Keesee, 38, turned herself into the Washington County Jail. She was charged with six counts of Sexual Abuse in the Second Degree.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a park in Aloha in search of a wanted man. The fugitive ran from police when they attempted to make contact. He was arrested a short time later.

Sheriff’s Child Abuse Detectives believe Deonte Huff is avoiding apprehension on additional felony charges involving minors. Deonte Huff bailed out of jail on the original Sex Abuse charges from May 8, 2013.

Washington County Deputies capture a man who is believed to have committed one burglary and attempted another burglary. He was captured after he fell from a tree during a manhunt.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash where a driver crashed into another vehicle sending the other driver to the hospital. The driver who caused the crash was arrested for DUII and other charges.

Metro area Sheriff’s Offices from Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill Counties increased DUII patrols during this Memorial holiday weekend. Deputies were out in force working on a regional effort to identify and arrest DUII drivers and other aggressive drivers.
