A contractor for Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation will be paving Springville Road between Oats Terrace and Kaiser Road (existing closure area), including the intersection of Springville Road with Kaiser Road this Saturday, August 24 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Travelers are advised to use alternate routes or to anticipate delays of up to 20 minutes.
The temporary closure of Springville Road between Oats Terrace and Kaiser Road is still in effect, and is on schedule to reopen to all traffic the evening of Tuesday, August 27. Through traffic will need to continue using the signed detour route through next Tuesday. Drivers are advised not to cut through the local neighborhoods. The existing road closure and paving work are necessary for the contractor to install a new waterline.
