On June 4, 2016, the public is invited to watch the 11th Annual Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Police K9 Trials.The event is from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Hillsboro Stadium (4450 NW 229th Ave, Hillsboro) and is free to the public.

Detectives have arrested a teenager in relation to a homicide in a Cedar Hills residence.

Washington County Deputies serving the City of Cornelius responded to an argument where shots were fired.  A Cornelius man was arrested and taken to jail.

May 7, 2016 – Friday night, Washington County Deputies arrested a man for DUII after he crashed into a parked car. 

Early this morning, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene of a roll-over crash on NW West Union Road near NW 203rd Place.  The passenger was pinned under the car and the driver had minor injuries.  Both were hospitalized, deputies are still investigating the crash.

Today, The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was selected by the Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force as the County Agency-of-the-Year for 2015 for DUII enforcement.

Washington County Sheriff’s Arson Deputies arrested and charged an Aloha woman with First Degree Arson. Sheriff’s Deputies believe she intentionally started a fire in a travel trailer that she and her children were living in. There were only minor<br />injuries.
