On Sunday, December 8, 2024, at about 6:30 p.m., the Washington County Sheriff’s Office assisted Oregon State Police in locating a reckless driver heading Eastbound on Highway 6 out of Tillamook County.

Two drivers were arrested for DUII and Reckless driving in separate incidents at the end of November 2024.

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 5:19 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the City of Cornelius responded to reports of a collision between a cyclist and a vehicle near the intersection of Baseline Street and SW 345th Avenue.

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Forest Grove, and the Tualatin Police Department collaborated with asset protection personnel from Target and Walmart to conduct an organized retail theft mission.

On Monday, November 25, 2024, at 10:31 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance with a weapon near the 17000 block of NW Joscelyn Street in Beaverton after the caller reported hitting his grandfather with a baseball bat

On Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at approximately 4:49 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a collision between a pedestrian in a motorized scooter and a vehicle near 2240 Baseline Street in Cornelius.

On Saturday, September 7, 2024, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center to take a report of a sexual assault that occurred at 8400 SW Hemlock Street in Portland (Metzger Park).

In June of 2024, investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a sexual assault allegation involving 68-year-old Ronald Burchett of Beaverton. Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit were assigned to investigate.
