Transportation Planning’s primary responsibility is preparing and updating the 20-year Washington County Transportation Plan.
We are also responsible for:
- Working with Metro, TriMet and Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) on regional transportation issues
- Travel forecasting
- Overseeing the countywide Transportation Development Tax (TDT)
- Bicycle and pedestrian planning
- Staffing the Washington County Coordinating Committee (WCCC) meetings
