An agreement that will initiate transportation improvements around the Nike campus was approved by the Washington County Board of Commissioners during its Tuesday meeting. The agreement covers four roadway improvement projects to be constructed over the next several years, totaling about $45.3 million. Nike is paying $10.1 million of that cost in transportation development tax (TDT). Nike’s TDT payment was calculated based on the square footage of the expansion occurring at their World Headquarters campus, in accordance with the County’s TDT ordinance.
