Washington County's Department of Land Use & Transportation invites public review and comment on its draft 2016-17 Road Maintenance Program. Comments may be submitted using the online form, by email or by calling 503-846-ROAD (846-7623) by Friday, April 15.

The department's annual road maintenance program identifies activities that preserve the public's investment in the county's transportation infrastructure. The goal is to provide the highest possible level of service within available resources.

The draft program includes about 65 linear miles of paving and preventive maintenance treatments on paved roads. (See map of planned pavement treatments below.)

The plan also includes construction of small improvements - URMD Safety Improvements - intended to improve connectivity and/or safety for all modes of travel.

After review of public input, the 2016-17 Road Maintenance Program will be presented to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for approval in June.
