The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a Plaid Pantry at gunpoint on Friday.

Inmate work crews from several county Sheriff’s Offices joined forces this week to renovate Metzger Park for the spring and summer seasons.

Sheriff’s Deputies investigate an Aloha man after he shot another man during an ongoing dispute.  There was only minor injury inflicted from the gunshot. 

Washington County Sheriff’s Office employees donate proceeds of October fundraiser to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Foundation and CASA Helps Kids. The Foundation is a volunteer non-profit organization that supports various Sheriff’s Office programs through donations.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted an undercover compliance mission where teenagers attempted to buy alcohol from stores in Washington County.

Washington County Deputies recovered three stolen vehicles overnight.  Two of the vehicles were recovered during vehicle stops.  Deputies arrested two men for stealing the vehicles from a local dealership and lodged them in jail.  The third vehicle was found abandoned.

Sheriff’s Deputies capture a wanted man after he crashed his car. He attempted to run after the crash but was quickly pursued and arrested.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the Cornelius Library concerning a man acting strangely.  The man was arrested and lodged in jail.
