Mental health treatment is usually covered by insurance. If you do not have coverage, we may be able to help. Washington County has some funds to pay for mental health services. To qualify, you must:
- Be a Washington County resident.
- Have a household income at or below 250% of federal poverty level for adults needing services, and at or below 350% for ages 0-17 needing services.
- Have mental health needs that cannot be addressed by other community resources
We contract with local providers to provide free treatment. The services available may vary. Priority is given to individuals with the most severe conditions and fewest resources.
