The Washington County Department of Housing Services, which includes the Housing Authority of Washington County, serves our community through rental assistance, affordable housing opportunities, and coordination of services for people experiencing homelessness.
Working in partnership with both the non-profit and the private sector, the Department of Housing Services combines traditional housing programs with economic opportunity to encourage self-sufficiency, skill enhancement and independence.
Service Providers
The Washington County Department of Housing Services works closely with numerous community-based partners, both in the government and non-profit sectors, to provide services to end homelessness and create affordable and stable homes for our county's residents. These organizations are trusted partners in the neighborhoods they work and with the communities they serve. We are especially proud to partner with several culturally specific organizations that enhance the wrap-around services offered.
Business Partners
The Department of Housing Services also works with a variety of business partners, through Requests for Proposals and our Section 3 program, which provides employment opportunities for individuals who receive housing assistance.
Landlord Resources
We partner with landlords in our community to provide a wide variety of housing choice. Landlords may work with us through a variety of programs.
