Liquor, Marijuana and Psilocybin Applications

Washington County makes recommendations as part of the application process for liquor, marijuana and psilocybin operations, in unincorporated Washington County only.

The Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) regulates the manufacture, distribution and sale of alcoholic beverages and marijuana (cannabis) in Oregon. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) regulates psilocybin operations and services.

Under Oregon Law, local governments are required to make recommendations and/or approvals on state applications for businesses involving liquor, marijuana or psilocybin before the applications are approved/issued by either the OLCC or OHA. Washington County only reviews applications for businesses and operations located in unincorporated Washington County.
