On February 8th, 2021, at approximately 12:15 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing woman in the Aloha area.

Effective February 1, 2021, the North Plains City Council welcomes Sergeant James Haxton as the City's new Police Chief in partnership with the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

On January 22, 2021, at 12:49 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a welfare check in the 16100 block of NW Canterwood Way in Bethany. A woman called 911 to report a man at the home had been killed by a family member.

On January 4, 2021, the Cornelius City Council, in partnership with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, named Lieutenant Bob Ray the new Chief of Police for the city.

On January 7, 2021, at 1:25 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a robbery near the 100 block of SW 138th Avenue in Beaverton, Oregon.

On January 5, 2021, Washington County Sheriff Pat Garrett was sworn-in for his third term as Sheriff. The ceremony took place during a morning work session of the Washington County Board of Commissioners.

On Monday, June 10, 2019, Jasper underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his rear left thigh. The bullet lodged in Jasper’s neck will not be removed at this time due to its location and risk of removing it. Jasper is still recovering, and his condition continues to improve each day.

Blueberry, an American Pitbull Terrier that's approximately one-and-a-half years old, is believed to have been stolen in November 2017. Deputies urge anyone with information to call non-emergency dispatch: 503-629-0111.

On Thursday, October 5, 2017, WCSO deputies responded to the Twin Oaks Airpark concerning a reported plane crash. Two men were treated by TVF&R rescue personnel and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
