The Sheriff's Office, along with the Drug Enforcement Agency are hosting a free drug turn-in event on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Raleigh Hills Walgreens.

Sheriff's Deputies attempted to assist a man that had overdosed on medication in an attempt to harm himself. The man refused care and drove a vehicle at a high rate of speed into a deputy's patrol vehicle causing substantial damage and minor injuries prior to his arrest.

Your Sheriff's Office invites women ages 14 and over to attend the October 2014 Women's Safety Fair. Attendees have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills during a scenario-based self defense exercise. Class size is limited and registration is required.

Detectives are searching for a man that reportedly walked into the woods. This case is being treated as suspicious due to many circumstances.

Sheriff’s Detectives arrested a young boy accused of causing significant arson damage that is also believed to have started several other fires in the area.

Three additional family members were recovered from Hagg Lake today. The apparent causes of death were drowning. Detectives are searching for the family of a child that apparently drowned in Henry Hagg Lake last evening.
