May 7, 2016 – Friday night, Washington County Deputies arrested a man for DUII after he crashed into a parked car. 

Early this morning, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene of a roll-over crash on NW West Union Road near NW 203rd Place.  The passenger was pinned under the car and the driver had minor injuries.  Both were hospitalized, deputies are still investigating the crash.

Today, The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was selected by the Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force as the County Agency-of-the-Year for 2015 for DUII enforcement.

Drop off any unused, expired or unwanted medications. <br /><br />Illegal drugs, medical waste, syringes or<br />needles, thermometers, IV solutions, lotions<br />or creams and medications from nursing homes, doctor’s offices or other businesses are not be accepted.<br /><br />The service is free and anonymous.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office Detective John Shipley was honored with the Randy Nunnenkamp Champions for Children award this morning at the Child Abuse and Family Violence Summit. This annual conference and<br />awards ceremony is hosted by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

Washington County Sheriff’s Arson Deputies arrested and charged an Aloha woman with First Degree Arson. Sheriff’s Deputies believe she intentionally started a fire in a travel trailer that she and her children were living in. There were only minor<br />injuries.

Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for a man that has been reported missing and is possibly in danger due to health issues.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash where a motorcycle left the roadway and collided with a bridge railing. The rider did not survive his injuries and his<br />passenger received serious injuries.

A single vehicle crashed on Highway 26 with two occupants. The SUV caught fire and numerous good Samaritans stopped to help pull the people and a dog from the vehicle.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies serving the city of Cornelius responded to a disturbance at a residence. Sheriff’s Deputies arrived and the situation escalated rapidly, forcing the deputies to respond with lethal force.
