Early Saturday morning, a man was arrested for Hit and Run and DUII after he crashed into two parked vehicles and then drove home. Deputies found his wrecked and smoking car near his house.

The Westside Crime Prevention Coalition (WCPC) is hosting an eight hour Landlord Training entitled, Keeping Illegal Activity out of Rental Property. This training will take place on Saturday, November 2, 2013, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Portland Community College (Willow Creek) located at 241 SW Edgeway Drive, Hillsboro.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two teenagers on allegations of breaking into 21 cars and a garage on October 12, 2013, and recovered a substantial amount of stolen property.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash involving a car that had driven into two mobile homes. No one was injured and no arrests were made.

Sheriff’s Deputies were called by a hunter who said he was attacked by a naked man and now was holding the man at bay with his hunting rifle.

On October 5, 2013, at 8:21 a.m., Sheriff’s Deputies received a call from a concerned citizen to check on the welfare of Jacqueline Bell, 71, residing in the 10200 block of NW Lee Street in the community of Cedar Mill. Sheriff’s Deputies found Ms. Bell deceased from what appeared to be homicidal violence.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is teaming up with Red Robin Restaurant at 2660 NW 185th Avenue in Hillsboro, to raise money for Special Olympics Oregon. This year’s “Tip a Cop” fundraiser will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2013, 11 am – 3 pm and 4 pm – 8 pm.

Additional information regarding the homicide of Jacqueline Bell will be postponed until late in the afternoon on October 7, 2013. This is a very sensitive time in the investigation and it is critical that additional information not be released at this time.

On October 5, 2013, at 8:21 a.m., deputies received a call from a concerned citizen to check on the welfare of Jacqueline Bell, 71, residing at 10225 NW Lee Street in the community of Cedar Mill.

Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a vehicle that was driven dangerously. The driver refused to stop. Deputies were able to successfully arrest the driver after she drove 27 miles while missing a tire.
