On November 28, 2022, at 11:30 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies got information that 25-year-old Anthony Kiontae Czerniejewski was in an apartment in the 2400 block of SW Ecole Ave., within the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD).

On November 30, at 11:00 a.m., Jiffy Lube, in partnership with the Beaverton Police
Department and the Clackamas, Clark, Multnomah, and Washington County Sheriff’s Offices, held a joint press conference about catalytic converter theft prevention.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, A 79-year-old woman called 911 when her son, 44-year-old Benjamin Hershel Ritchie, assaulted her and her caretaker. When deputies arrived, they found the caretaker, 57-year-old Clare Krill, unresponsive on the floor.

On October 3, 1974, 16-year-old Donald Bartron and 18-year-old Peter Zito, Jr., were murdered in the parking lot of the Oak Hills Recreation Center. On November 2, 2022, just over 48 years later, detectives arrested Steven Criss for those murders.

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at about 9:15 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a gunfire call near SW Augusta Drive and SW Imperial Court in the community of Aloha.
