Deputies Ask for the Public’s Help to Identify a Shooting Suspect

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at about 9:15 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a gunfire call near SW Augusta Drive and SW Imperial Court in the community of Aloha.

Several nearby residents reported hearing someone shouting in the street, followed by multiple gunshots. Responding deputies secured the area and conducted an extensive search with K-9s, a drone, and members of the Tactical Negotiations Team (TNT) but could not locate the suspect.

During the investigation, deputies learned that bullets struck a truck and camper parked on SW Augusta Drive, as well as a house. The vehicles were not occupied at the time, and the room of the house the bullet struck was empty. No one was injured in the incident.

Investigators were able to acquire surveillance footage from one of the neighborhood residents. A clip of the video can be seen here.
