Washington County has activated the 175th Avenue snow zone, between Scholls Ferry and Rigert roads, due to inclement weather.

River Road, between Farmington and Rosedale roads, has reopened one week earlier than anticipated, following emergency repairs resulting from a collapsed culvert.

Taylors Ferry Road, west of 80th Avenue, will be closed Dec. 18-20 for bridge repairs.

Funding for eight Pedestrian and Biking Improvement Projects was approved for design and early planning by the Washington County Board of Commissioners during its Nov. 21 meeting.

Snow zones, areas where vehicles are required to have traction devices during inclement weather, have been implemented on portions of three roads in Washington County with steep grades and high elevations.

Eight pedestrian and biking improvement projects were recommended for funding in FY 2018-19 and FY 2019-20 by the Washington County Urban Road Maintenance District Advisory Committee (URMDAC) during its Oct. 18 meeting.
