Walker Road Projects

Walker Road is being improved in phases, improving the commute for all travelers.
Letters on the map correspond to the list.

Walker Road is a used by many people to reach homes, workplaces and businesses. It is an alternative to OR 26 through Beaverton, Hillsboro and urban unincorporated Washington County. Sections of Walker Road are maintained by the cities of Hillsboro and Beaverton.

Improvements to Walker Road and adjacent streets are being completed in phases, as funding is available.

These phases will complete safety and capacity improvements on Washington County's section of Walker Road, between 185th Avenue and OR 217. Additional projects will be needed to connect to the City of Hillsboro's section of Walker Road west of 185th Avenue, and to connect to the Oregon Department of Transportation's OR 217.
