Public Transportation Partnership with Ride Connection

Washington County partners with Ride Connection, Inc., to offer transportation services that connect people and communities.

Connecting People and Communities

Our partnership with Ride Connection, Inc., a non-profit public transportation provider, is helping more people get to more places. Together we are meeting the transit needs of our community and developing a coordinated vision for transit services throughout Washington County.

We are working to:

  • Provide public transportation to serve growing communities that lack other transportation options
  • Reduce service fragmentation, making it easier to take public transportation within and beyond the Portland region
  • Develop transit stops that are safe, comfortable and accessible to people living with disabilities
  • Maintain our transit system and reduce transportation emissions
