A winter weather emergency calls for cancellation of the Committee for Community Involvement (CCI) meeting that was scheduled Tuesday evening, Feb. 20, 2018 in Aloha.

Deputies were dispatched to SW 185th Avenue and SW Farmington Road in Aloha after a teenage girl reported that two men in a white work van followed her as she walked home from the Albertsons store.

Deputies need the public’s help in recovering a Portland Timbers championship ring that was stolen from a home in Bethany sometime within the past two months.

During the investigation that followed last week’s shooting in Bethany, WCSO detectives assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit identified 17-year-old Jeffrey D. Terrell of Springfield as the suspect.

An Aloha man is in custody after the body of a 28-year-old woman was found inside a vehicle. 35-year-old Jeremiah Johnston was arrested and lodged at the Washington County Jail on charges of homicide and abuse of a corpse. He is being held without bail.

An 18-year-old Cornelius man was arrested after he stole two puppies and later abandoned them. Both puppies were returned to their owners after being spotted at separate locations by alert community members.
