On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 1:16 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of a blue 2000 Chevrolet Blazer driving erratically on Highway 26 westbound. One of the two callers witnessed the vehicle strike the highway guardrail near the Oregon Zoo exit and continue on.

On Friday, January 4, 2019, at 4:59 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an injury crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle near SW 185th Avenue and SW Farmington Road in Aloha.

On Friday, January 4, 2018, at 2:33 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of car prowlers in the 6000 block of Northwest Calypso Terrace in Bethany. A community member reported that three people were trying to enter a vehicle and later seen running away.

On Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at 12:06 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the City of Cornelius responded to a report of someone recklessly shooting a firearm.

On Monday, December 24, 2018, at 5:04 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to assist Gaston Fire at the Riverside Apartments at 98 2nd Street in Gaston.

On Saturday, December 22, 2018, 2018, at 10:40 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an injury crash involving five vehicles at SW 170th Avenue and SW Farmington Road in Aloha.

On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 9:58 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a criminal mischief in progress near Southwest Hall Boulevard and Southwest Hemlock Street in the Metzger neighborhood.

On Thursday, December 20, 2018, at 2:28 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm activation from a bait package deployed by detectives at a residence in the area of West Baseline Road and Southwest 170th Avenue in Aloha.

On Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 9:34 p.m., a Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputy was at the Sheriff’s Office Bethany Precinct when he was approached by a man. The man told the deputy that an unknown person stabbed him in the back while he was sitting outside the Bethany Starbucks.

Five people were arrested following drug distribution, animal neglect and child endangerment investigation in Aloha.

On December 17, 2018, at 6:41 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 13500 block of Southwest Jenkins Road in the Cedar Hills community.

Two drivers were injured after a head-on crash on Cornelius Pass Road. Alcohol impairment is believed to be a factor.

On Sunday, December 9, 2018, at 6:40 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an alarm activation from a bait package at a residence near Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway and Southwest 170th Avenue in Aloha.

On Saturday, December 8, 2018, at 7:23 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported armed robbery at the Aloha Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restaurant at SW TV Highway at SW 187th Avenue.

On Saturday, November 17, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the City of Cornelius responded to a head-on crash at Tualatin Valley Highway and NW 341 Avenue. Deputies arrested Samuel Castro Muro, 38 of Forest Grove, and was charged with second-degree manslaughter, four counts of third-degree assault, five counts of reckless endangering, reckless driving, and second-degree criminal mischief.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting high visibility enforcement patrols looking for impaired drivers between the dates of December 1, 2018 and January 1, 2019. The enhanced patrols are being done in partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Oregon Department of Transportation, and Oregon State Sheriff's Association.

On Friday, November, 2018, at 12:19 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to investigate an emailed threat made towards Stoller Middle School, which is located at 14141 Northwest Laidlaw Road in the Bethany community.

Over the past several days, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies have taken multiple reports of animal abuse in and around the King Village Mobile Home Park at 12450 SW Fischer Road near Tigard and King City.
