On September 21, 2013, firefighters responded to a fire at a sex offender treatment center. They determined there was a burglary and the fire was intentionally set. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was called to conduct the criminal investigation. No one was injured in the fire.

On Thursday, September 19, 2013, patrol deputies and detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office along with FBI and Tigard Police law enforcement, conducted a prostitution sting operation and arrested seven people.

Deputies responded to an injury crash on River Road near SW Farmington Road. When deputies arrived, the driver 48-year-old Lois Lepschat of Cornelius had sustained life threatening injuries. Alcohol was a factor in this crash.

Deputies responded to an injury crash on Tonquin Road. The driver 49-year-old Gail Feldman of Wilsonville crashed into a power pole and it is believed that she was driving under the influence.

Washington County Deputies captured a man who is believed to have attempted a burglary. The homeowner spooked him off and the suspect was captured after a manhunt.

A Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a stolen vehicle and the driver refused to yield to him. The vehicle eventually ran into the ditch and the driver was arrested.

Westside Interagency Narcotics (WIN) Detectives were assisted by additional agencies as they served warrants on 15 residences in the metro area.
