The Washington County K9 Trials competition is a free family event where law enforcement K9 teams compete for first place!
In partnership with the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Sheriff's Office Foundation(Link is external), this event provides a great opportunity for the public to connect with local public safety agencies and learn about the talented K9 units protecting our communities.
The overall first-place designation is awarded based on a point system for each event.
Competition events include:
- Area Search
- Agility Course
- Suspect Apprehension
- Handler Protection
- Fastest Dog
In addition to the entertaining K9 competitions, spectators can enjoy a community and vendor fair and a meet-and-greet with the K9s after the competition.

- 10 a.m. - Community and Vendor Fair
- 11 a.m. - K9 competition begins
- Meet-and-greet following competition
Additional Information
- Food and drinks are available for purchase.
- Please leave pets at home; however, service animals are welcome.
- Please be aware that parking is limited this year due to construction. Consider carpooling as an option.
