On the morning of Saturday, June 22, 2024, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to multiple reports of a car fire in the 15000 block of SW Sundew Drive.

With great sadness, Sheriff Caprice Massey shares the loss of one of our own, Deputy Richard “Rich” Thompson who tragically passed away following a traffic crash.
