Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit arrested 40 year-old Geoffrey Germano, a teacher at Aloha High School, for downloading multiple files which were identified as child pornography.

The bicyclist involved in Tuesday night's traffic crash outside of Hillsboro was pronounced deceased at the hospital earlier this morning.

An alert community member located 76-year-old Linda Bell, the missing Aloha woman, near the intersection of Southwest 138th Avenue and Southwest Larch Place in Beaverton.

Deputies serving the City of Cornelius arrested a man after he illegally dumped a dilapidated mobile home at Echo Shaw Elementary school.

A former captain with Clark County Fire District 6 has been arraigned on a sexual abuse charge following an investigation into reports that he inappropriately touched a person with a training proctor during a training exercise near Sherwood.

Deputies arrested Brandon Ross Linder, 32, after he robbed a U.S. Bank in the community of Aloha. Employees called to report that a man had passed the teller a note demanding money. In 2009, Mr. Linder was convicted of robbing a different U.S. Bank in Beaverton.

During a two week nationwide traffic safety enforcement mission, deputies assigned to the WCSO Traffic Safety Unit conducted 518 traffic stops. Of those stopped, 398 citations were issued and 217 warnings were given. In addition to seat belt violations, deputies concentrated their efforts on stopping drivers for speeding and using mobile devices.

On September 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., the WCSO Tactical Negotiation Team (TNT) arrested Marcos Jaimes-Radilla. He was peacefully taken into custody in the parking lot of a southwest Portland hotel.

WCSO deputies, along with personnel from the United States Marshals Service, and Oregon State Police, conducted two sex offender compliance missions over the past three weeks. 775 compliance checks were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 37 people. 

Deputies responded to an assault in the community of Aloha and discovered a person in the street who had been shot. Deputies and a K-9 were unable to locate the suspect following an extensive search. The victim was transported to an area hospital.
