The Good Samaritan that assisted Corporal Crecelius has been identified. The unknown man that assisted Corporal Crecelius pull Mark VanVleck from the burning Jeep has been identified as Nickolas Kingston, 22, originally from Forest Grove and currently enlisted in the US Navy in Oak Harbor Washington.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrested a man after he barged into a family member’s home allegedly to cause harm. The resident shot at the man with his handgun before the man fled.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash where a sedan entered into the path of a semi truck. The drivers were the lone occupants in both of the vehicles. The driver of the sedan did not survive his injuries.
