Just before midnight on February 25, 2025, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to an armed robbery in the parking lot of the Jenkins Estate on SW Grabhorn Road in Aloha.

A 911 caller reported hearing gunfire, a fight, and cars leaving the scene. Deputies arrived very quickly and found a 19-year-old man had been pistol-whipped, assaulted, and robbed at gunpoint. The victim reported that all of the suspects were armed. The suspects had already fled in a white 2017 Infiniti Q50. The victim was treated at the scene and later released.

Just over 10 minutes later, deputies found the Infiniti driving near SW 170th Avenue and SW Oak Street. Deputies detained all five people in the car. According to the Washington County Juvenile Department, one of the passengers was a 17-year-old boy who was found in possession of a handgun. Deputies identified the other four people as follows:

  • 18-year-old Osvaldo Jacobo-Cabrera (driver), from Bethany
  • 21-year-old Joseph Hale Faaleava, from Bethany
  • 19-year-old Brennan Wayne Jones, from Aloha
  • 20-year-old Eyoeal Fasil Belete, from Gresham

The four adults are facing charges of robbery in the first degree and assault in the second degree. Belete also had a warrant for failing to appear on a prior case.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Unit responded to help with the investigation. Detectives applied for warrants to seize and search the Infiniti. Inside the car, they found three more handguns, a realistic AR-15 replica pellet gun, and face masks. Detectives also found controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.

The investigation is still continuing and detectives are concerned the occupants and car may be connected to other crimes. If you have any tips, please contact the investigations division at 503-846-2500 and reference case number 50-25-2782.
