Road Design and Construction Standards

The Road Design and Construction Standards establish the technical engineering design and construction requirements for public road and bridge improvements under our jurisdiction. Our road design and construction standards:

Provide a safe and reliable transportation system
Preserve, protect and improve County infrastructure
Ensure the long-term viability of the transportation system
Avoid unneeded maintenance and replacement costs.

These regulatory documents help create communities where transportation needs and livability are well balanced.
