Comment on the Transit Development Plan open house

Visit the Transit Development Plan online open house and take a survey to help us identify improvements to public transportation in rural Washington County and other areas not well served by TriMet bus routes.
Media release

The Transit Development Plan online open house survey runs through Sept. 6.

Washington County, in partnership with Ride Connection, Inc., is preparing the Transit Development Plan to identify public transportation priorities to meet Keep Oregon Moving (House Bill 2017) legislation requirements and help connect you to more places.
We want your input on which transit priorities are most important to you:

  • Maintaining and enhancing first- and last-mile community and job connector services
  • Providing rural door-to-door service for general purpose or medical trips
  • Improving amenities and accessibility at shuttle bus stops
  • Developing seamless transit trips to other regions

The Washington County Transit Committee, appointed by the Washington County Board of Commissioners, is assisting with the development of the plan. Meetings are open to the public and include time for public comment.
