The Community Service program attempts to build a sense of responsibility in youth toward the community. The Juvenile Department provides opportunities for youth to perform community service work by partnering with non-profit organizations. Youth may either:
- locate their own community service site
- take part on supervised work crew
- will earn credit that translates into direct payment of restitution to victims
