Labor Agreements
Washington County recognizes its obligations under law to negotiate in good faith with labor organizations representing certain groups of employees. There are currently six labor organizations representing Washington County employees.
Report Improper Governmental Conduct
The independent Ethics Matters hotline and website allow community members and employees to anonymously report concerns about the conduct of county employees, officials or agents of the county.

Civil Service Commission
The Commission is comprised of five volunteers, one from each of the Commissioner districts, who provide a third-party review of the County's employment practices. The Commission is the appeal board for County employees and candidates for employment.
