Nonprofit Affordable Housing Developers

Nonprofits and charitable institutions with regulated affordable rental housing affordable to households at 60% MFI and under, located in unincorporated Washington County, where both the land and building are owned by the non-profit (not leased), may be eligible for property tax exemption. The annual application process for property tax exemption is open starting February 1. Applications are due by March 1. If you have questions about this program, please email [email protected].

Participation by HAWC or its wholly owned affiliate in a Limited Partnership may make property eligible for ad valorem tax exemption pursuant to Oregon Revised Statutes (ORS) 307.092.
