Sheriff’s Deputies were out in force working to identify aggressive commercial vehicle drivers and other people who drive aggressive around the commercial vehicles. This was a cooperative effort between the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Safety Team and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT).

Sheriff’s Child Abuse Detectives believe Deonte Huff is avoiding apprehension on additional felony charges involving minors. Deonte Huff bailed out of jail on the original Sex Abuse charges from May 8, 2013.

On Wednesday, May 08, 2013, at about 1:00 p.m., Sheriff’s detectives arrested Deonte Huff, 26, of Portland. He was a part-time-seasonal assistant coach at the Catlin Gabel School located on NW Barnes Road.

Today at about 6:16 p.m., Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a man with a gun. Neighbors alleged that Charles Rose, 40 of Aloha displayed a gun when they would not turn down their music.

Sheriff’s deputies were called to the Canyon Park Apartments to investigate a child being locked out of her apartment. They eventually entered the apartment and found the grandmother intoxicated and unaware the child had returned home from school.

Sheriff’s Deputies arrest a man for stealing beer then striking a person who attempted to stop him.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason McLaughlin, was honored as the 2012 DUII Enforcement Deputy-of-the-Year.
