Deputies serving the City of Cornelius arrested a man after he illegally dumped a dilapidated mobile home at Echo Shaw Elementary school.

A former captain with Clark County Fire District 6 has been arraigned on a sexual abuse charge following an investigation into reports that he inappropriately touched a person with a training proctor during a training exercise near Sherwood.

Deputies arrested Brandon Ross Linder, 32, after he robbed a U.S. Bank in the community of Aloha. Employees called to report that a man had passed the teller a note demanding money. In 2009, Mr. Linder was convicted of robbing a different U.S. Bank in Beaverton.

During a two week nationwide traffic safety enforcement mission, deputies assigned to the WCSO Traffic Safety Unit conducted 518 traffic stops. Of those stopped, 398 citations were issued and 217 warnings were given. In addition to seat belt violations, deputies concentrated their efforts on stopping drivers for speeding and using mobile devices.

On September 7, 2018 at 1:30 p.m., the WCSO Tactical Negotiation Team (TNT) arrested Marcos Jaimes-Radilla. He was peacefully taken into custody in the parking lot of a southwest Portland hotel.

WCSO deputies, along with personnel from the United States Marshals Service, and Oregon State Police, conducted two sex offender compliance missions over the past three weeks. 775 compliance checks were conducted, resulting in the arrest of 37 people. 

Deputies responded to an assault in the community of Aloha and discovered a person in the street who had been shot. Deputies and a K-9 were unable to locate the suspect following an extensive search. The victim was transported to an area hospital.

Detectives arrested brothers Ryan Hsu, 31, and Alan Hsu, 29, of Bethany for conduct with a teenage girl. The Hsus own and operate the Best in Class Education Center in Bethany.

During enhanced Labor Day holiday patrols from August 17 to September 3, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested 47 impaired drivers. Of those 47 arrested, five involved drug-related impairment.

Deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Time Out Gas Station in Banks. An employee reported that he was robbed and that the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Detectives are investigating two incidents involving attempted assaults in Aloha. It is unknown whether these incidents are related.

During the two-night DUII mission over Labor Day Weekend, more than 30 law enforcement officers from agencies in the area worked together to arrest 22 impaired drivers. 

Deputies responded to an injury crash at NW West Union Rd and NW Neakahnie Ave in the Rock Creek neighborhood. They learned that the driver of a stolen car crossed the center line and crashed head on into another vehicle. The passenger were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Deputies serving the City of Cornelius arrested three men after they stole a piece of construction equipment that had an anti-theft GPS tracker.

Deputies arrested a Beaverton woman after approaching a group of three people with a gun at Vista Brook Park.

Detectives need the public's help to locate Julio Aguilar-Garcia, 33, of Beaverton, the suspect in a stabbing that occurred in the community of West Slope on August 22.

Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying the suspect of a sexual assault that occurred last month in the Garden Home community. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

A Hillsboro man was arrested near Beaverton after ramming a patrol vehicle with his vehicle, fleeing the scene and eventually being captured by a Beaverton Police Department K-9 team.

Two people were arrested after a weeks-long drug dealing investigation at a mobile home park in Cornelius. Over 80 grams of methamphetamine and eight firearms were seized.
