Early Saturday morning a woman drove off the road, through the grass at the Cornelius City Hall and crashed into the building.  She did not stay at the scene of the crash.  She was arrested for DUII and other charges and then lodged in the Washington County Jail.

This evening, November 8, 2014, Daniel Christopher Timothy Chad Wyant, 41, from Beaverton was discharged from the hospital and lodged in the Washington County Jail.

The Washington County Interagency Gang Enforcement Team (IGET) captured two men who are believed to have been involved in a drive-by shooting.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a crash where a vehicle left the roadway and rolled. The vehicle was occupied by the driver and one passenger. The driver did not survive his injuries.

A Sheriff’s Deputy attempted to stop a stolen vehicle that refused to yield to him. The vehicle eventually crashed into the ditch and both men were arrested.

Deputy Chris Gilderson was acting in his official capacity as a Deputy Sheriff when he arrested Mr. Abdiwali Hussein on December 31, 2013, for Second Degree Theft and Supplying Alcohol to a Minor.

Early this morning, deputies responded to a roll-over crash on Highway 26 where at least one person was ejected and two others fled the scene. They were eventually found and the driver is facing charges.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office completed their assistance with the Scoggins Creek Fire incident. The Sheriff’s Office worked in partnership to assist numerous local and state agencies as they combated the fire.

Sheriff's Deputies attempted to assist a man that had overdosed on medication in an attempt to harm himself. The man refused care and drove a vehicle at a high rate of speed into a deputy's patrol vehicle causing substantial damage and minor injuries prior to his arrest.

Your Sheriff's Office invites women ages 14 and over to attend the October 2014 Women's Safety Fair. Attendees have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills during a scenario-based self defense exercise. Class size is limited and registration is required.

Detectives are searching for a man that reportedly walked into the woods. This case is being treated as suspicious due to many circumstances.
