Washington County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s assistance locating 15-year-old Annieka Vaughan, who ran away from her residence in Aloha on October 30, 2017.

A Hillsboro woman attempted to ram three people as they fled in a vehicle. The woman later crashed into multiple patrol cars during a pursuit, injuring one deputy.

A pedestrian crossing Highway 99W at SW Fischer Road was struck by a vehicle and died at the scene.

A local basketball coach was arrested for sexually abusing a minor. Due to his extensive contact with youth, detectives believe there may be additional victims.

A Beaverton women was arrested for arson after intentionally setting fire to her own condominium. Another occupant was forced to jump from a second story window to escape.

A Beaverton teen was arrested for attempted murder. Detectives are asking for the public’s help locating his brother, Cory Bedford, who is wanted for the same crime.

WCSO deputies assigned to patrol and to the Traffic Safety Unit collaborated on a non-traditional enforcement mission in Aloha. Deputies focused on educating the public on Oregon's hands-free law, which prohibits the use of an electronic device both while driving and also while stopped in traffic.

A natural gas leak displaced approximately 150 residents. NW Natural crews have stopped the leak and residents have now been able to return home.

Jerry Cox, 76, was located by his family while walking on SW Bell Road. He indicated that he spent a good portion of the evening at the Shari’s Restaurant in Newberg before he was found. WCSO wishes to thank all those who searched for Mr. Cox, as well as those who helped get the word out.<br />
