An impaired driver from a fatal crash in July on Highway 99W was located in California and arrested for manslaughter in the first degree. The investigation found her blood alcohol content at the time of the crash had been over three times the legal limit.

An impaired driver crashed into a house in the Cedar Hills community early this morning. Two passengers were transported to a local hospital with injuries.

A felon wanted from two different incidents lead deputies on a vehicle pursuit in Cornelius. He was later located hiding on a stranger’s roof.

Two people were arrested after stealing a Sheriff’s Office bait package from a home in Aloha. A dozen pieces of mail belonging to multiple neighbors were later located nearby.

Deputies conducted proactive enhanced patrols at a known nuisance house in Aloha, resulting in 18 arrests made since November 25.

A southern Oregon man was arrested for sexually abusing two teenagers in Washington County. One of the teenagers is developmentally disabled. Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking for the public’s help.

An Aloha man stole a Sheriff’s Office bait package from a home less than two blocks from where he resides. Deputies later learned he had damaged the package in an attempt to destroy evidence.

A couple awoke to find a stranger asleep on their bedroom floor. He was later located by deputies who were tracking his location on the couple’s cell phones he had stolen.

Detectives from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Unit recovered property stolen from a vehicle over the weekend and have returned it to the rightful owner.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help finding 15-year-old Ashley Jarrell, who ran away from her home in Aloha on October 18, 2017. Her family last spoke to her by phone on November 5.

A Gaston woman was arrested for attempted homicide after she shot her boyfriend during an argument. The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A motorcycle deputy was struck by an SUV on Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. The deputy, a nine-year veteran, sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

On Saturday, November 18, 2017, the City of Cornelius, in partnership with Centro Cultural of Washington County and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, will provide a holiday dinner to members of the community during the Fourth Annual Cornelius Community Thanksgiving Dinner.
