Investigators determined that David Warren, the driver of the Bronco, committed violations that were contributing factors in the May 22, 2015 crash with David Garcia. Yesterday, Mr. Warren was issued citations for Dangerous Left Turn and Careless Driving. His court date is scheduled for June 17, 2015.

Washington County Sheriff Pat Garrett extends his invitation to veterans, families and friends to honor this Memorial Day Holiday at a special ceremony. This event honors the members of the armed forces that made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to stop a suspected DUII driver.  She attempted to elude deputies and at one point struck a patrol car.  She was arrested for DUII and related charges.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) and local law enforcement agencies will be on the roads providing extra patrol to enhance safety for this Memorial Day holiday travel period.

Early this morning a woman was arrested after causing a two-vehicle crash.  One person was injured in the crash.  The suspect was charged with multiple charges including assault and resisting arrest.

Tonight, a man driving west on NW Gales Creek Road failed to negotiate a turn and crashed his car.  The car rolled and the driver died at the scene.

Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were called<br />to an area overgrown with brush in the community of Aloha concerning human remains that were discovered.<br />

Sheriff’s Deputies were able to locate Mr. Richard Gehr with the assistance of the Portland Police Bureau. Mr. Gehr was located while riding Trimet in Portland shortly after 5:00 p.m.

Early this morning, a man driving south on SW Midway Road failed to negotiate a turn and crashed his car.  He was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a possible robber where six men were identified as suspects. Deputies located and arrested four of the six men.

Earlier today a woman was critically injured, and later died at the hospital, after a car pulled in front of her motorcycle. No charges are expected in this case.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office Canine Unit has been awarded ballistic vests for each of the canine’s on the team due to a generous Washington County resident donation.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office and local police agencies have received complaints from the public concerning a warrant payment scam.  The person would ask for a payoff to avoid arresting the person that supposedly had the warrant.

April 12, 2015 – Deputies responded to an injury crash on Old Cornelius Pass Road.  The vehicle crashed through a fence and into a yard.  The driver was cited for DUII.

<br />April 11, 2015 - Washington County deputies responded to a report of an assault with a weapon.  A 15-year-old girl was taken into custody for assaulting another 15-year-old girl with a knife.<br />

Yesterday, March 31, 2015, a Washington County Grand Jury indicted Jaime Tinoco, 17, of Portland, with the August 19, 2014 murder of Nicole Laube at The Commons at Timber Creek apartments. He was arrested this morning and charged with Homicide.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help to identify a man who robbed a Plaid Pantry at gunpoint on Friday.

Inmate work crews from several county Sheriff’s Offices joined forces this week to renovate Metzger Park for the spring and summer seasons.

Sheriff’s Deputies investigate an Aloha man after he shot another man during an ongoing dispute.  There was only minor injury inflicted from the gunshot. 

Washington County Sheriff’s Office employees donate proceeds of October fundraiser to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Foundation and CASA Helps Kids. The Foundation is a volunteer non-profit organization that supports various Sheriff’s Office programs through donations.
