Sheriff’s Marine Deputies working river patrol for the Rose Festival, rescued a man after he jumped from the Steel Bridge in an attempt to take his own life. The man suffered minor injuries from the fall and was taken to a local hospital.

Sheriff’s Deputies were in a collision with a sailboat on the Willamette River during Fleet Week patrols. The wooden sailboat received minor damage.

May 7, 2016 – Friday night, Washington County Deputies arrested a man for DUII after he crashed into a parked car. 

Early this morning, Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the scene of a roll-over crash on NW West Union Road near NW 203rd Place.  The passenger was pinned under the car and the driver had minor injuries.  Both were hospitalized, deputies are still investigating the crash.

Today, The Washington County Sheriff’s Office was selected by the Oregon DUII Multi-Disciplinary Training Task Force as the County Agency-of-the-Year for 2015 for DUII enforcement.
