On Saturday, February 26, 2022, Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of a missing and endangered man. Thomas Geiger, age 46, was last seen leaving in a vehicle from his residence near Forest Grove at 8 a.m. on the morning of February 25. Family members located Geiger’s vehicle near Hwy 6 and NW Story Brun Road, but he was not inside it.

On Thursday, February 24, 2022, just after 2 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were called to a welfare check in the 4200 block of NW Oxbridge Drive in unincorporated Washington County, Oregon. This location is within the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD). A passerby noticed an adult female down in the front yard of the residence and called 911.

On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at approximately :23 a.m., deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report that three unidentified male suspects were attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a motorhome. The victim heard a saw being used outside his home on SW Lenore Drive. This is in the Aloha area, part of the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD). The victim reported that the suspects drove off in a red, four-door sedan with a license plate barely hanging on the back of the car.

On Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 1:32 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the city of Cornelius responded to a report of a shooting at the Mojitos Bar & Grill at 2575 Baseline street. Several people called 911 to report that a person had been shot and that the suspect had left the area in a vehicle.

On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office determined the identities of two individuals involved in what was first believed to be an attempted child luring case. Deputies received a call from a community member after they learned of the initial media release n February 5, 2022. Upon further investigation, deputies discovered two juveniles were the ones who had contacted the 11-year-old child and thought it would be funny to offer the child candy.

On Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 9:57 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on a red Dodge Charger near SW 172 Terrace and SW Marty Lane in Beaverton. Deputies knew the driver of the vehicle, 22-year-old Amir Walker, had several warrants for his arrest related to gun possession, promoting prostitution, coercion, and felony assault.

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at approximately 6:40 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary in progress on SW 199th Court in Aloha. This is near the intersection of SW 198th Avenue and SW Farmington Road in the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD).

On Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at around 6:50 p.m., deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report that a stolen vehicle was spotted in the parking lot of a grocery store on NW West Union Road in the Bethany area of the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD). Deputies were told two men had just parked the stolen car and had gone inside the grocery store. Moments later, several deputies arrived and located the two men leaving the store with multiple items they failed to pay for. The two men were questioned about the stolen vehicle where property was also recovered from a recent burglary on NW Wenmarie Drive, near NW Springville Road.

In January 2022, Washington County Sheriff’s Office detectives assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit received information from the Everett (Washington) Police Department about an ongoing sexual assault investigation involving multiple victims. In October 2021, detectives with the Everett Police Department arrested 35-year-old Christian Sayre. As their investigation continued, they learned Sayre had over 20 victims in Washington state.

On Sunday, January 9, 2022, at 2:43 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an assault with a weapon call on NW Oak Knoll Place, near NW Shadow Hills Lane. This is in the Bethany area, part of the Enhanced Sheriff’s Patrol District (ESPD). A 58-year-old man called 9-1-1 to report that his 18-year-old son, Aiden Samson had just stabbed him.

On Friday, January 7, 2022, at 1:09 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving the City of North Plains responded to North Plains Public Works at 31360 NW Commercial Street and were told a city vacuum truck had been stolen. A witness saw the truck drive through a gate at North Plains Public Works and followed it northbound on NW Mountaindale Road. Shortly after, the truck went off the road and got stuck in a field near NW Mountaindale Road and NW Old Pumpkin Ridge Road.

On Friday, December 31, 2021, at 2:22 p.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Hillsboro Fire and Rescue responded to a single-vehicle crash at SW Farmington Road and SW Rood Bridge Road, south of the city of Hillsboro.

In September of 2021, Washington County Sheriff’s Office detectives assigned to the Violent Crimes Unit began investigating a case of child sex abuse after getting a report of an adult man having sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, December 23, 2021, 3:09 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a hit-and-run crash in the 16,000 block of NW Brugger Road in the Enhanced Sheriff's Patrol District (ESPD) community of Bethany.

On Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at 11:44 a.m., Washington County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a welfare check on a man who matched Larry Tabin’s description.

On Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at around 3:30 a.m., Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a vehicle parked along the side of westbound Highway 26 near NW Mountaindale Rd., near the City of Banks.
